Honey & Oat biscuits


This is the recipe for our simple honey & oat biscuits. Using only basic ingredients these biscuits are so easy to make and take very little time to achieve. They're so delicious and we hope you love them as much as we do! 



Ingredients 

75g Oats 
150g Plain flour 
25g Caster sugar 
75g Unsalted butter 
1tsp Bicarbonate of soda 
2tbsp Honey 
Milk 




Step 1: Begin by preheating your oven to 160°C and lining a baking tray with parchment paper. Next, in a large bowl combine the flour and caster sugar. Then add the butter and rub into the flour and sugar until you reach a breadcrumb like consistency.  



Step 2: Add the remaining ingredients and bring together until you create a soft dough. If the mixture is too dry add a dash of milk at a time until if forms a dough.  


Step 3: On a lightly floured surface or a piece of parchment paper roll the dough out until 1cm in thickness, then using a cutter cut out your biscuits and transfer to a lined baking tray and put into the fridge for 30 minutes to allow the dough to firm up. 


Step 4: After half an hour remove the biscuits from the fridge. Brush the top of the biscuits with a little milk and then place into your preheated oven for 12 minutes or until golden brown. 


Step 5: Finally, remove from the oven and leave to cool slightly before transferring to a cooling rack.
